Lofi Heights is a game about building a city on the beat. A floor slides back and forth above your tower. Tap when it lines up and it drops into place. Anything overhanging gets sliced off, and one miss tops out the building.
The sliding floor is locked to the song's clock, so a perfect drop lands exactly on a beat. Play it in portrait on a phone, or in a desktop browser.
The song builds with you
Each landing plays the next note of the neighborhood's melody, softer if your drop was sloppy. A streak of 4 adds harmony and a streak of 8 adds sparkle. Bass joins at 2 floors, drums at 4, and pads at 16. A miss makes the music dip, and topping out resolves onto the home chord.
Six neighborhoods
Each has three lots with a goal height and up to three stars. A star on every lot opens the next neighborhood.
- Maple Row: Maple Tea, brownstones and falling leaves
- Harbor Lights: Salt & Strings, a lighthouse and sailboats
- Sakura Hill: Petal Drift, tea houses and lanterns
- Neon Alley: Night Bus, rain and ramen signs
- Snowfall Heights: Fireside, chimney smoke and a bakery
- Starlight Terrace: Constellations, aurora and observatory domes
Your finished towers stay standing as the neighbors beside your next lot. Free build mode has no misses, and you put the roof on yourself.
Also in the box
- Lofi Radio plays an endless, arranged mix of the neighborhoods you've unlocked, with a 25/5 focus timer, and keeps playing in the background.
- A cat wanders your rooftops and hops up a floor with each note.
- Progress saves in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
