  • Every line adds up

Digits 1 to 5, no repeats in a run. Each sheet has exactly one answer, and the generator checks it.

  • Corrections leave a mark

Lift a placed tile and a faint ghost stays behind. Solve with none for a CLEAN PROOF stamp.

  • Printed, not drawn

Three spot inks overprint, drift out of register and snap into place as you solve.

Every row and column on a small, oddly shaped board adds up to the pink number beside it, and no digit repeats inside a line. Drag tiles from the tray, or tap a stack and then a cell, until the sheet is right. Think Kakuro made gentle: only the digits 1 to 5, drag and drop instead of a keypad, and nothing ever marks you wrong.

A proof, not a level

The game is built like a Risograph print. Solved lines roll a stroke of pink ink through their cells and the yellow and pink plates snap into register with the blue. Where two solved lines cross, the inks overprint. Finish the sheet and an approval stamp comes down: CLEAN PROOF if you never moved a tile, or PROVED with a count of your corrections.

  • Pencil, never red. Pencil totals show how a line is going, and a repeated digit is circled the way a proofreader would.
  • The tray is a clue. It holds exactly the digits you still need, so the counts help you deduce.
  • Hear your solve. Each digit is a note, and a finished proof plays back as a tune.

Stages and daily sheets

Four stages (Draft, Galley, Page, Press) run from easy to expert, and the pencil help fades as they get harder. Boards come from 28 hand-drawn silhouettes and are generated fresh each time. Two short lessons teach the rules on your first launch.

Today's Proof is one sheet a day, the same for everyone, and it shares as a printed card with the numbers lifted off so it spoils nothing.

You can also choose from five ink sets (Classic, Tidepool, Federal, Zine and Orchard) and how loosely the press registers: Tight, Loose or Wild.
