Privacy Policy

Proof: A Number Puzzle · Last updated November 4, 2026

The short version

Proof doesn't collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app makes no network requests.

What stays on your device

Your progress is saved only on your device: how many proofs you've solved and solved cleanly, your streak, your chosen stage, which lessons you've finished, your results for each Today's Proof, and your settings (ink set, press looseness, sound and haptics). None of it is sent to me or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.

Apple's analytics

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give me aggregated, anonymous statistics such as downloads, sessions and crashes. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements › Share With App Developers.

Sharing

When you share your Today's Proof card, the app makes a picture and hands it to Apple's share sheet. It goes only where you send it. I don't receive a copy.

Children

Proof is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, children included.

Changes

If Proof ever starts collecting any information, this policy will be updated before that happens, and the change will be noted here.
